The intention of the La Rioja Regional Economic Forum is for it to continue as the meeting point and place for debate between the main players of the regional and local economies:
1. The socio-economic policy makers of the Community, national, regional and town administrations.
2. Economists and practising professionals who work with the economy: from tactical and strategic consultancy to education and training, including research.
3. Employers, with particular attention to large and medium-sized companies, not forgetting the small and medium-sized companies and family companies, which form the basis of regional economies.
4. Trainers, producers and managers of information in economic matters.
Contact, communication and interaction between the players in these four areas, will make it possible to produce a real and up-to-date diagnosis of the factors influencing the economy. Economic policies developed in response to these influences may then be adopted so that the regions can continue to be competitive.
